Today we woke up and had breakfast. Our niece's and nephew requested pancakes and cheesy eggs.
It was delicious. The lady that owns the Bed & Breakfast is so nice and a great cook.
After we were done eating, I walked into our room and I found the cat that lives at the B&B laying on our bed. I went out and told Kelly he wasn't very happy about it. I thought it was quite funny. The cat reminded me a lot of how Nala (cat) looked. It made me miss my little kitty.
We then drove the few miles into Virden to meet all the family at the 'Virden Church'. The church use to own this building now it is for people to rent out. Its like a giant hotel, I never pictured how a LDS church could be turned into 30 bedrooms.
It was a great morning of chatting with family. Seeing cousins, aunts & uncles. They had a great program for Grandma's 90th birthday. It was filled with memories from her kids and pictures. She was in love with it & I think everyone learned something that they didn't know before.
This picture was taken of Grandma and her kids singing a song she taught them when they were little. Lets just say Grandma still has it- as for the kids... eh.. not quite.

I snapped this picture of Kelly with his grandpa. I think Kelly will look just like him when he's 95 years old. He is the stinking cutest old man.
This little boy is named Colt. He is one of Kelly's cousins kids. He is four months old and weighed about 30 lbs. He was so cute and well heavy. He was actually a premie and was the biggest premie that the hospital had seen. Colt has two sisters that are just cute divas. They both have bright red hair & were so friendly to everyone.
Kelly wasn't so sure how to hold a baby. I guess we have our work cut out for us.. Colt instantly started crying when Kelly started to hold him!
When Kelly was a little kid they took a big family picture out on these steps, so everyone was taking pictures with their families.
We obviously had to do it as well.
(Yes, we matched on the 4th of July.. because we're cool like that)
| Something is growing in there. (We were officially half way on the 4th) |
After a great dinner, games and watching the kids play we went to Duncan to watch the light parade that night.. lets be honest it was smaller and a little small town.
We then went to the high school to watch fireworks! It was the best show I have ever seen better than the Weber State fireworks. I thought we may go to Duncan for the 4th every year.
I have had a cold for about 3 weeks and was kind of miserable between the lack of air in the church and stuffy sinus pressure. We finally got back to the B&B to find out that there was a band playing across the street.. I will be honest I was pissed. I just wanted to sleep.. but after turning on the AC in our room we were probably passed out within 10 minutes.
