I really do dare you to go through your entire house to move things around different rooms, trash stuff & reorganize everything. Two Words ... it. sucks. I have spent the last few days going through rooms & rooms in our house changing things around to get ready for this baby.
Kelly built shelves in the laundry room for all the food storage we got from his parents for Christmas. I am glad its finally out of boxes and I can start to use it. We also are going to use the shelves for other miscellaneous stuff.
We have a small crawl space under our family room, right now its full of boxes with crafts but I have so much more stuff I will be putting in there from my childhood & who knows what else.
The 'blue dungeon' aka our basement bedroom is going to be turning into the craft room. Which that was a storage room, workout room etc. Moving all of the things out of it & finding new places for everything is a little overwhelming. I am excited to have a even bigger craft room now & have things a little more hidden in the basement.
I am 95% positive our upstair rooms will now look so much better with my craft room downstairs. Mainly because Kelly will not have to see it nearly as often.
Plus it will be weird & exciting that we get to start working on the babies room soon.
I have also gone through all of my clothes and shoes to get rid of things I haven't worn in forever or probably won't ever fit back into. I don't know if any of you are like this but there are somethings that I will be attached to but I know in the back of my head I won't ever use it again. Other days I could throw away my whole house and not feel a bit guilty.
I am going to be so thankful to my sister Marci who will be coming over later today to put her insane organizing skills to work in our house.
