January 2016!

Okay I'll admit it... I'm behind. I did better in 2015 with blogging than I have in 2016.

Uh first off can we say how weird it is that its 2016!! Helloooo odd!

January was full of different things from the dance girls performing at the Jazz Game halftime to me having a gum graft done on several of my teeth, hanging out with family and watching our little Charli bean grow up.

Because we love moms rain boots so why not wear them?

What happens when Charli hits the spoon away during lunch!

I went and visited the dermatologist. My skin had been really bad with acne .  I was excited to get started on what the doctor prescribed to me.
My dance buddy stealing sips out of my drink.

What happens when Charli lets me do her hair.. The first few days of doing a little pig tail were not easy. SHE HATED IT!

When you finally are tall enough to see yourself in the mirrors at the studio.

Just practicing some ballet moves.

We had a lazy Sunday. Dad was going to be working all day and we had a rough morning with someone's attitude. No, not moms but Charli's. So we stayed home from church.. Played with the iPad and cuddled.

We also watched Frozen.. Although as you can tell Charli is more interested in books than the movie.

Hanging out on a Sunday Afternoon with Grandma Malone.

How else do you do laundry when your little girl wants to go every where with you?
You set them in the basket and climb three flights of stairs with them. Another reason I want a rambler eventually.. no more split level house!

We love our walker. She just cruises along the family room! Although all her toys have to be picked up for her to not fall!

The best mornings is when Kelly tells me as he leaves to work that I can go and get doughnuts..
Sometimes you take advantage of it and buy yourself a half dozen at your favorite doughnut shop and eat all of them by lunch time. #momsneedabreak

This day was hard for Charli it seemed like every where she went in the family room her baskets were in her way. She would sit on them or in them and not know what had happened or how to get off of them.

Uhh the best friday is spent shopping.. but when you and your sister go into the cutest store ever and buy stuff in secret and hope that the hubby won't notice your new dress... that is a successfully fun friday! We love SHABBY APPLE!

Sunday best.. Charli is passed out from church! Just in time for mom and dad to be able to nap.
PS. Don't you love Kelly's tie he got for Christmas.

Someone turned 14 months. WHAT!

The dermatologist said it would be a while before I would see results. Well
I hate to say it but it had only been a couple weeks and I saw a big improvement in this picture I am wearing Maskcara Cosmetics. Seriously you need to check it out. I love it! But it was always so thin and light application and wouldn't cover up my blemishes and redness. Well that day was the first day that I applied it without anything else on but moisturizer.

IKEA! Another fun day is spent with the Preece family at IKEA. Once again we hope that our husbands won't care what we come home with. Its always a riot and we end the trip with ice cream cones!

I wish I didn't have to document this but in case there is a world record that we can win.
This is the biggest blood blister I have ever seen. Kelly got this at work! He was on call and got called out to a retirement home center. He was trying to lift up a gas range with a worker and it ended up coming back down and pinching him. It swelled up to this in a matter of seconds. When he showed me what had happened I wanted to BARF!

Remember how I say Kelly does so much for me. This is one of those times. He kept putting off the fact that we needed to get a couple baby gates. I had told him what one I wanted and he didn't like it because it wasn't a pressure mounted gate. Well after some convincing and some scares of Charli just showing up in the kitchen from the basement we finally got the gates I wanted on sale at BabiesRUs. I seriously love that they are retractable so the stair way is still open when we need it to be. BEST GATES! I however don't love the redneck look of 2x4's holding it all together but whatever makes us both satisfied right!?

The Jazz Game! The girls did awesome! It was a long day of walking and I was nervous on how Charli would do since we have to be there early in the afternoon to practice on the floor. But it went so smooth! I absolutely love the BEATLES routine this year!

Like I said earlier I had to get some gum grafts done. Not the funnest but I figured to get them done with as soon as I could. I had some gums receding on my bottom teeth and on the upper left hand side.
They cut a "small" incisison on the roof of your mouth and take tissue from there. Then they stitch that up and mold that tissue to make the graphs. Then the receded tissue is cut and pushed farther down so they have something to hook the new tissue too.

Luckily with this whole process they give you a clear retainer tray that covers the stitches on the roof of your mouth. I wore it for the first day and it helped me not be so grossed out. I have to admit I was 100% out of it. They don't knock you out for the procedure but they send you home with pain killers. Which I wasn't sure if I would need. I'm so thankful I had them. It was just annoying to have the aches for so long. The first night Kelly took me to the grocery store as we were walking around the store he looked at me and said... "I like you on pain killers.. you are really nice".. I looked at him and said "Does that mean I'm never nice.." he then ended the conversation. Smart Man.
I only took a couple pictures of the bottom one and the roof of my mouth.

My mom was nice enough the second day to pick me and Charli up and take me to get some soup at Zupas. Nothing tasted good for a long time because it felt like a pizza burn on the top of my mouth. I slept a lot mainly because of the pain killers and it was really nice to take naps. :)

Although don't judge me that it was like 2pm when we went to Zupas and that Charli was in her PJ's. I was drugged people & well I was in my pjs too. So take that!
It was the most relaxing week we played with toys and hung out. Although I hated at some points that I was still on pain killers and couldn't go anywhere unless someone took me or Kelly would when he got home.

She loved stealing my Go Gurt's. This girl sure does love yogurt.

Happy Nail day to me!

This little crazy got to go to Johnny Rockets. She didn't sit in a high chair. I felt bad after her being in the car the entire day going to the Provo City Temple Open House and to look at granite in West Valley. But she was awesome and she helped me eat my tatortots! I couldn't eat well since the surgery was only a few days before that but if I leaned my head just right it was fine to chew.. Charli soon caught on and would then eat with her head tilted as well to mimic me.. goof ball.

That temple was so pretty. Its literally like walking into something so historical. Its like if the pioneers would have built it but in modern day. I couldn't get over the detail and how many things they were able to mimic from the tabernacle over into the temple. The wood work was simply stunning and down to the lighting, carpet and hinges on the doors.

Okay don't judge the fact this totally shows you up my nose. But I was really curious on how my roof looked. Gross Right!

Uhm once again I was shocked at how well my skin was looking! And well I just want spring to be here so I can wear florals all the time (Wait I already do!)

Bath Time.. She loves to lay there in her towel. Its one of the few times she will let me wrap her like a burrito.

The drama is real in our house.

Ice Cream with dad... YUMMY! Mom even shared her Play-Dough!

Almost a week later.. it had healed pretty good.

I never understood mischief and quietness. I was enjoying reading and it was silent.. I looked over to find this girl consumed in shredding a box of tissues.

She loves playing with the Mr. Potato Head my roommate Kenzie bought me in College. She thinks its fun to pull of the glasses and hat.
