3 Months!

Can you believe it?! 3 Months! Ah. Where has time gone?
It has been spent in cuddles, making bottles, burping, changing diapers, rocking and bouncing, singing, playing and talking to little Charli.

Charli is such a cuddle bug. Anywhere we go Charli is taken and loved on. Its nice to have the help from family members and I enjoy the fact that people want to hold her and play with her as much as I do. A couple Sundays ago Grandma Nelson tried to feed Charli a bottle. She accidentally forgot the part in the bottle that makes it so it doesn't leak all over. Well safe to say Charli only got half a bottle and the other half was all over Grandma and her. But seriously those chubbies on this girl are getting a bit ridiculous at how cute they are.

Lately we spend our nights in Charli's room more than we do in any other room. Sometimes it drives Nala crazy that Kelly just wants to read his book 'Unbroken' instead of playing with her. She then proceeds to bark and irritate Kelly until he gets up and plays with her. Kelly is looking at me saying "why does she do this?" ... hahaha. Nala is obsessed with Kelly that is for sure.

This last month I have done a few girls days. Breakfast with roommates, Lunch with childhood friends and dinner with the whole Relief Society. All of these happened within the same week. Kelly's response to all of it was "I wish I was a mom so I could go out and play. It seems pretty easy!" hahaha.. I had to laugh at him. But really it was so fun to be around my old roommates and to catch up with old childhood friends. Its funny how life doesn't stop and how much things change. At lunch we sat and laughed about how we have two babies and one on the way.. like what has happened to us that we had to grow up?! I am thankful for the friendships that I have created in my life. I know that sometimes I take them for granted but its nice to pick up where you left off.

The debate: People have been trying to guess who does Charli look like? Some think she looks like me. Others think she looks like Grandpa Malone.. well, I am here to set you guys straight... She is her Fathers Daughter. Look at those twinners. The only thing that girl has is my chin and great taste in clothing and love for sparkles.

Charli has the red hair tint still. I compared it to my niece Aria's hair and I think we have a match. Charli still has those blue eyes that Kelly still is hoping that they stick around!

Talking about the love between Charli & Kelly.. I caught this picture of Charli holding onto Kelly's finger as she was falling asleep one night. Ah.. I just love how much love that these two have. Even though Kelly will say he is still learning how to be a Dad. I think he already knows that he's a natural.

Okay. But Seriously. Those floral pants on Charli. Can it get any better?! ... she has her mom's taste.. Or so I like to think. I love playing dress up with this girl. Target is a problem for me... but its the best problem I have ever had! :)

We sat in our Bumbo chair for the first time as well. We still are working on holding our head up but I think Charli liked the overall feeling of the chair. She sat and watched me do the dishes. She did great at holding up her own head until she got tired then she slumped down and was nodding off..

As much as I want her to hold her head up at the same time I don't want this baby to grow u

I would pay a million bucks to kiss that baby!
Oh the cuteness of a little ruffle bum!

Loves:
Cuddling and being bounced
Eating our bottles
Going to dance practice and watching the girls move back and forth (Charli tries to watch the girls)
Car Rides. Charli loves watching the links on her carseat when we are in the car. She has started to bat and grab them. Its kind of fun to watch her work for it.
Playmat. She loves watching the mobile on the playmat and listening to the music it plays. We will make the toys move and she starts kicking her legs and smiles so big.
We get lots of smiles out of this girl... I hope they never end.
Our Swing... Wow, I love that swing. Charli will take her naps in it and watch the balls above her. Its the best thing and helps me get so much done like showering, blogging and the occasional cleaning ;)

Working on: {We are tolerating these things but not loving them}
Tummy Time. We still find our fist start sucking and then fall asleep. Occasionally we get a few good lifts.
Bath Time. With having our cold she started to kind of enjoy the warm water and would give us a couple smiles. We also witnessed the first fart in the bath tub. Kelly looked at me and we started to laugh and then Charli did this big grin. It was funny how big that bubble could be from such a little girl.
Lotion. We are starting to get over the horrible crying when lotion comes out. I hope we keep up on the happiness after bath time.

Nicknames:
Charbar -Kelly's favorite
Charkey- I use this quite often
Charli Pants - Grandma Malone
Char Char- Another one I use
Bubbas- Aunt Krystal

While taking pictures of Charli she started to get fussy. I let her suck on the binkie and about two minutes later she was out like a light. How cute is this baby. I mean who really looks this good when they are asleep?

We love you little bug!
