Anniversary Weekend

Can you believe that its been 2 years since I married Kelly! Wowza! I am so happy that I get so many more years with him!

This past two years we have had some great adventures that happened. There has been so much growth and things that have made us learn. Times that we just wanted a break & went on a vacation. Other times we thought it would be fun to start a project in the house. Lots of time spent together. Movies watched. Jokes shared & definitely there was not a lack of LOVE.

I seriously love how hard Kelly works & that I am able to have 2 amazing jobs. It keeps us insanely busy but, at the end of the day there is nothing better than coming home and seeing each other for a few hours before we fall asleep.

About a month a go my BFF/Twin Kenzie B. called me around 10pm. I answered and she said "Maggie, get out of bed... I know you old people are probably watching the news or starting to fall asleep!" ... I started laughing. She was right.. I just climbed into bed and had the news on. Although, it was totally worth staying up for the next hour and a half talking to her. I seriously love that we have kept a good relationship and friendship. I tell you that story because it seems that we may have gotten a little old in the last 2 years. We can't stay up very late & it takes us 4 days to finish a complete movie... you read that right 4 DAYS!

It is hard to wrap two years worth of memories, stories, laughs & frustrations in just a few paragraphs but that is why I get Eternity to spend with him!

On to the Celebration!

A couple weeks ago I started looking for a new washer & dryer. I was getting irritated with ours. The washer was never spinning out the water & the agitator was really annoying on how it would tie knots in everything. So..  Friday night we picked up a set that I found on KSL. They are sooooooo nice! The family that had them couldn't use them in their new house. They spoke very highly of the set and really wish they could keep them.

Also they have only had them a few years and for about one year they haven't used them. Plus if you know Kelly he loves getting a good deal & talking people down to a price that he wants to pay!

After some heavy lifting and taking doors off to get them set up I now have a set that I am in LOVE with!

I find it odd that a washer & dryer can make me so happy, considering most of my friends would rather spend the money on other things at my age. I really am so so so so happy with these!

After we had them set up we went to Olive Garden. I was CRAVING bread sticks & luckily they are open late on weekends. It was delicious and we had an awesome waiter. Although, I hardly ate any of my spaghetti because I filled up on salad & bread sticks.

Saturday
Kelly had a skidsteer job so I got to hang out at home & sleep in. Yay! After I finally rolled out of bed I headed to my parents house to see my niece & nephews. Marci & Landon had some paperwork to do for the house they are going to be building in Kaysville so the kiddos were hanging out with us. We fed them lunch & drove them to meet with their parents so they could head back to Springville. Since my mom & me didn't have anything to do we walked through the open house that they will be building! Talk about BEAUTIFUL! It was absolutely stunning & I am so excited for them to have a house they love!

That afternoon we went to my Grandparents to see my Uncle Matt who was in town with a couple of his kids. It was fun to chat with him & watch the grand kids play with each other. Its so nice to have such close family & grandparents who will bring us all together!

Saturday night we headed to the Layton Mall to do some serious damage. At least it felt like it. Since April consists of both our birthdays & our anniversary it creates a lot of shopping. I got a couple new tunics, basketball shorts & a new shirt. Kelly got some new jeans, shirt, jacket and sweat bottoms. We absolutely spoiled ourselves but after we left the mall we realized that we 100% deserved it!

Easter Sunday
We spent the day with my parents & had dinner with Kelly's extended family! It was fun to chat with them and spend time outside! Kelly's Grandma is a sweetheart. I love talking to her & listening to her stories.

Kaleb was hilarious. As I was sitting down he came over and said "Happy Anniversary Maggie, I got you a Coke!" Now, that my friends is an awesome Brother in Law. He knows what I like and knows what would make me happy! Thank you Kaleb!

Overall it was such a great weekend! I was going to post this Monday but, life got the best of me and here it is getting posted at the end of the week. (Better late than never.)
