Christmas 2015

Before Christmas started off we all gathered for some new family pictures. It was great to have Kelsey and Curtis finally here. I will post more on family pictures in a different post.. but it wouldn't be complete christmas without everyone home.

He's kind of one cool dad but even cooler when he lets his daughters pick out his outfit for pictures.

The hubster

Of course the Sunday of Christmas requires a new outfit for yourself and daughter.

Chilling with dad watching Jimmy Fallon. Got to stay up late since she was so happy.

CHRISTMAS EVE!

Santa sure showed up for Charli this year. It seems like he was pretty excited to celebrate Christmas with her this year.

And the new Christmas pjs! We tried to convince Dad to get matching Elf jammies with us but he said no way. Its like he knew there would be pictures taken. hahaha. Party Pooper.

But I think we are the cutest elves. Even though people have threatened me with black
mail on this picture.

CHRISTMAS DAY!!
A few things you have to know about Nelson Christmas Day. Its a long day... isn't Christmas always long for everyone? I feel like its triple as long. But for all good meaning. Kelly and I started Christmas at our house around 7 am so we could start the day off on time. It was nice to enjoy each other while Charli was still sleeping. Rude Parents I know..

Kelly got some great stocking stuffers. Like a back scratcher, charging iPhone cords for all his vehicles and of course some Beef Jerky & a Christmas Orange. It seems like Santa was sick of him stealing things from others in the house ;)

I was spoiled with some great gift cards in my stocking. A few from Fiiz and Farrs Fresh Ice Cream. Also Santa knows how to spoil me with candy!

A little funny story shall we.
In October Kelly was wanting to get a new shot gun to go duck hunting. I was totally fine with it because every man deserves a good hobby away from home. But of course Kelly spoiled me as well and bought me the Apple Watch I had wanted. They had just come out with the Rose Gold one.. its bomb. So we both decided that was our early christmas. Sweet right! Kelly definitely wanted to drive his point home because a few days before Christmas I was looking everywhere for my Apple Watch box so I could take something out of it. I couldn't find it. Kelly was absolutely no help with looking for it. So I gave up. Then some presents started showing up under the tree. There was a long rectangular box. I knew right away he took the box and wrapped it so I couldn't whine about how there was nothing under the tree. And so he could say "I told you thats all you were getting."
Funny Husband...
If only I would have known I would have wrapped his gun up. :)

We took Charli's gifts to Grandma's Malone's house and opened them up there.

As you can tell she loved getting some little people in her stocking!
This girl also loves CLOTHES! She has to hold them when ever we are shopping for her.

A big castle for one cute elf princess.

Grandma Malone got Charli an adorable outfit she wore later that day.

We enjoyed Breakfast at the Malone's and then headed over for a second breakfast at Kelly's parents house. It was yummy. I feel like I eat much more on Christmas day than thanksgiving.

Charli WAS SPOILED ROTTEN by so many people for christmas.
Between books, toys, clothes and even candy. She definitely is loved by many family members.

Grandma Nelson got her this coat. She wouldn't look at anything else in the bag. She wouldn't let us take the coat away from her until she was wearing it. SHE LOVED IT. LIKE OBSESSED WITH IT!

We then were off to visit my Grandparents. We hung out at my Grandmas church building. Playing basketball, talking to aunts and uncles and seeing all the kids get excited over tiny remote control cars.

We then were on our way to one of the last stops. Great Grandma Smiths house. We loved being able to hang out with her and see how her Christmas was. She looks forward to everyone being there that time of year.
We then met up with Kenneth & Marla's Family at Krystal's house. It was a fun way to end the night. Although at that point Charli was past tired with all the stops and visits.

See I told you WORN OUT! .. This was the second we put her into the carseat.

DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS!

All of Kelly's family wanted to go sledding. Kelly's brother was able to get in contact with a co worker who has some land in West Point. It was fun. The kids loved riding around behind the snowmobiles. I let Charli hang out with my mom and sisters since it was FREEZING.
It was also the first time I had ever been on Kelly's snowmobile that he bought last year right before we had Charli. Man it is fast! It almost scared me how fast that thing would go.

It was a tradition growing up to take a picture with all the stuff you got for Christmas.
A few days later I finally was able to snap this picture of Charli.

Another Sunday Swag Picture. She's stinking cute right!

This little girl knows where all three pianos are at Grandma Malone's house.
She doesn't have a problem with reaching the keys either.
She does love to climb the stairs and steal the stuffed owl pillow in my moms bathroom as well.

Throughout the whole christmas season we enjoyed some long winter naps.
Charli also enjoyed sleeping with a blanket during nap time.
