11 Months!

Man oh man, One more month till the big 1st birthday! I can't believe it. I remember being on the verge of tears when she was 6 months old. But I don't know how I feel about 11 months old. Its like she's practically a toddler.


Charli like usual has been an amazing baby. We have been lucky on so many occasions. Lately Charli hasn't always been an easy sleeper. She has had just a couple of occasions where she has waked up in the middle of the night. I think it definitely has to do with teething. She has had the runny nose and drool when its happened. Which we have been working on a couple of bottom teeth for a couple months now.

Clothes: We are about the 12 - 18 month range. Although most of our clothes look better and still will fit in a 9 month in some things.

Diaper Size: Size 4!! We are a big girl weighing over 25 lbs.

Food: This is something you can't say to loudly. he he. Okay we practically eat everything and anything. Don't you dare eat something in front of Charli without sharing. She will pinch you if your sitting next to her until you share. We absolutely love eating Ice Cream cones and munching on potato chips.

Words: "Hi There." "Mom!" "Dada!" ... She is definitely in a mimicking stage and we can sometimes get her to copy things.. I think she has sad "Otay" a couple of times.

Actions: We do it all. Lately because we can feel something coming through our gums we have our tongue sticking out like a puppy a lot. We like to give stink eyes to people and love making indian noises with the back side of our hand.

Next CEO of Apple: If I can predict one thing and choose Charli's job. I would say she's going to be a tech genius. She loves grabbing the iPad our iPhones and now my Apple Watch. She knows how to move things around get in and out of apps. She also knows how to text. Maybe I just want her to be the CEO so I can get a discount on products. ;)

Songs:Charli may have her own playlist on Apple Music. Okay I'm kidding. But seriously we always have music going on wether its our favorite lullaby primary music or a little bit of Taylor Swift going on in the car. We also love itsy bitsy, wheels on the bus, patty cake and mom sometimes forgets that I really love Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam.

Books: You better not put Charli to bed without reading a book or two. Sometimes in the morning she will point at the books in her room and sign more. We love books!

Sleeping & Naps: We do great with sleeping. Sometimes we have to take a couple extra naps depending on the day. But normally we get an hour to 2 hours. Like I said before I think she gets some teething pain at night.

Teeth: We have two little baby teeth on the bottom breaking through. YAY!

Thumb & Long Sleeves! Now that its getting cooler outside. We get our long sleeve shirts confused with jam's. But in a way its secretly nice because she remembers that she can suck her thumb for comfort where she won't do it as much with a short sleeve top on. Its the cutest thing!



Tickles: We found out that she loves to be tickled sometimes in a goofy way but she also loves it to calm down. Although this does not work during church! But she will easily go down for a nap with some tickles on her face, legs and tummy sometimes. Its so cute. We even can catch her when she is sucking her thumb she will use her opposite hand to tickle the palm of her other hand.

Movement: Scooting & Army Crawl. Man, you know its about time we get a little something from this lady. She will push her way around quite a bit. Not all the time. If you try and hold something out far from her she will simply point to where she wants it to be so she doesn't have to move. She knows we are on to something! We will roll through our middle splits to get to our belly we also are trying to figure out who to get from our belly back to sitting up without rolling.
Nicknames: Char Bar. I think this one has stuck of life. I still call her a turkey when she's being a stinker.

We absolutely love riding on Grandma Smiths chair. This is the first thing we play with when we visit Grandma! She has a very nice set of wheels!

Standing up against the couch is always a fun time. 

Especially when you get to pet a puppy too & play with the Apple TV.

Naps at Auntie M's house. She has her own room at their house. 

We play hard & sleep hard!

Definitely will have to re create this when the girls are older.

We are really trying to grow up way to fast.

We don't know why we can't move anymore. 

But for a second mom was kind of thinking we'd do this more often.

Sometimes you buy your daughter matching pants months before she even arrives just in hopes that one day you will match each other. October 13th was that day! 

Its true she has her moms jeans and genes!
