July 2015

July 2nd
We survive because of naps somedays!

4th of July!
We spent the weekend at the cabin with some of our friends!
We tried out the hiking backpack on a walk to the river!

Tongue out always!

The Weller's! If you look closely you can see B's homemade leash. Carli is one creative mom!

Lets go for a dip? Kelly & Moss decided a dip in the river would be fun. Well it sure was fun for everyone else. They were quite cold after!

We drove down to Evanston to watch some fireworks, eat dinner and light off our own fireworks!

Your not cool unless you wear Old Navy flag shirts!

I fell in love with this festive outfit for charli at Old Navy. The front says "Shine like the stars" and the back is an adorable cut out with little red bows! ...it makes me happy! Lets not even mention the cute blue and white star shorts that came with it!

Mom & Daughter Attitude was on point. The entire trip she was all about stinking her tongue out!

We were sitting right by the LDS church while watching the city fireworks. The whole time all the citizens were lighting off fireworks as well. It was war zone. We stayed to watch more even after the cities were done. I was shocked at how many people spend money on fireworks. When I thought we were cool for buying roman candles & neon sparklers.

Scary story: As we were watching the fireworks the church has a metal roof on it. And well an  artillery shell hit my shoulder. If you look at the picture of me holding charli it hit my right shoulder which was only about 4 inches away from charli.

Janae and Charli hanging out at the firework shop! It was a fun day for everyone although me and Janae sometimes acted like we weren't married to our husbands! They totally acted like little boys once they had their fireworks.

July 6th: Lunch with the girls!
It was fun day of talking and of course what's bad about Costa Vida!
Love my girls!

July 7th:
If you are lucky enough to go on the Seaswirl then you know all about this saying! ;)

July 9th:
Puppy & Playing.
Kelly was gone to scout camp at Lake Powell so that meant me and charli hung out by ourselves for the week. Which meant she did a lot of playing and Nala was a great puppy as well. Nala really likes being close to charli.

While Kelly was gone to Scout Camp. I found a pleasant surprise on my front porch. There are two big food groups I live on and that is Pizza & Salsa. But not any salsa.. Tyson makes the best Salsa and he happened to be home that week and made some just for me! It was delicious!

July 10th:

Cuddles oh cuddles. Something about grandma malone and Stuart. But Charli was so content hanging out with both of them. The best part is Grandma and Stuart were just as happy.

Before and after!

Above is the queen bed...
Below is heaven.. aka King BED

Ever since Charli I have hated our Queen size bed. I wanted more space and I hated how the mattress felt on my back.. Well after saying that in front of family. Kelly's Brother in Law Chris found us this steal of a deal on a King one.

After church one sunday Kelly and I spent the afternoon hauling out the old bed and setting up the heaven of a King. After sleeping on it for a while now. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK!

July 13th: Watching So You Think You Can Dance & the Bachelorette
training her early.

July 14th :
Dinner with the Nelson Family at ABC Mandarin.
It was a fun time to see Aunt Diane and Uncle Skip, every time they are in town all of us go eat chinese with them. All of the kids love Chinese food and we always have tons of leftovers. We tried giving Charli so steamed rice and well she threw up all over. Just one parent failure.

July 15th: Chillin at the studio.
Charli goes everywhere with me.. I am sure you figured that out but she does great at the studio. There are times she wants to be held and other times she just acts like a goof ball. This was one of those times.

My Grandma is still cool and buys all of us grandkids nerf guns. I waited for Kelly to come inside and had all the lights off and started shooting him from the kitchen. It was awesome!

Looking for peace and quiet. This is the toy. Charli loves playing with all the fun things that are on this toy.

July 16th:
Bee's Game with my parents!

I was whining for an Ice Cream Cone... then my dad came back with this..

Did I mention that my dad is pretty cool.
Ever since I was a kid he would take me to the Raptors game for Daddy Daughter Dates it always ended with him buying dinner and some type of souvenir. Yes I was the favorite girl!

Charli even got her first foul ball at her first baseball game. She loved it. My mom actually caught it and fought an 8 year old boy over it.. just kidding. But she really did catch it. Way to go Grandma.
July 17th:
Sass and Tude.
We spent the night doing yard work and someone wasn't happy that she couldn't have either of us.

July 18th:
We took Grandma Smith out to breakfast at Jeremiah's. They have the best breakfast!
Grandma loved it and so did everyone else.

We then spent the rest of the day at Willard Bay!
This was Charli's first time! It was kind of an overcast day and Kelly was just waiting for me to say 'let's go home'. But then it cleared up and was gorgeous! We hung out with his sisters foreign exchange students. They loved tubing on the back of our boat and were taking so many fun pictures. They had never been to a lake before.. Even though we wouldn't say Willard is a lake.

I also was able to give them some Taylor Swift CD's after we found out they really like her!
My type of girls!

July 19th:
Church Selfies.
Sometimes when we are stinkers and scream in Sacrament Meeting we hang out in the hall. And sometimes we take our Sunday Selfies.. What's wrong with that?

July 20th:
I get crap for this picture from my family. "Glad to know you buy cereal maggie!"
Okay, I only took this because it shows perfectly that Charli looks like her dad!
Twinners!

July 21st:
Let her sleep.. or watch her sleep. ...I spent the morning in Charli's room just looking at her and thinking how did we have such an amazing girl come into our lives.

Beyond Glazed..
Yum.
Yes that is a Maple Bacon Doughnut, Raspberry Mango Doughnut, Old Fashioned and Cookie's and Cream.. And yes they are delightful.

July 23rd:
Thumb Sucking Charli. We love our thumb!

July 24th:
A creeper in the nursery.
Good Ole Tyson. Taking a nap in Charli's Room.

We celebrated the fourth by going to the rodeo. Well I didn't want to go. I knew that it would be a packed night and horrible seating. I also knew that it wasn't the best place for a 8 month old to be entertained with. So after a good old fight between me and kelly we left the rodeo.

Hello Zeppes. We introduced Tyson to this wonderful gelato shake. It was amazing.

 July 25th:
Surf N Swim!
The best part about Kelly's family is being able to go to all of his siblings and brother in laws work parties. Tonight was one of them. It was fun eating and hanging out in the pool. Charli loved the water but she mostly hung out with her aunts and Grandma Nelson.

July 27th:

I love this outfit so I had to take some pictures of her plus she was babbling and saying bye bye.

What happens when Dad feeds you..
Is there any in her belly?
(Really she gets food stuck up her nose and then food boogers happen)

When mom feeds you! Happy little lark fell asleep. She is a chunky bloated monkey.

July 30th:
Trying out our pincher skills. She loved trying to eat some bread crumbs.

July 30th:
Swim day at Auntie M's. We love their pool almost more than we love them..
shhh. Just kidding.

I spy with my little eye..

Someone likes to roll over and look at their mom grabbing diapers.

Second Cousins... Charli and Georgie. We absolutely love Georgie and she was so happy to sit and play with Charli. Georgie is such a sweet girl. Before we left the wedding Georgie made sure to tell me she wants to babysit Charli.

Family Picture at Baby Norah's Blessing!
Here Comes August!
