What a Weekend

Thursday after I left school it was raining & I was ready to go home and clean up things around the house. But as I was driving I remembered how when I was a kid getting home on Thursdays I would find my mom making cookies since she didn't teach piano on Thursdays. Cookies sounded really good so what did I do instead of cleaning as much as I wanted? I made cookies! YUM!

Okay, I ate more dough than anything but I did end up cleaning up most of the house. It was nice to take down Valentines decor & put up St. Patty's stuff.

We left Nala outside most of the night on Thursday because it was raining and we knew once we brought her in she would probably be disgusting. Once she was finally allowed in she was taken downstairs for a bath. She hates that bathroom because she knows what it means.

Friday night I was working on things for my Young Woman and going through things on my iMac. I turned around to see why Kelly wasn't responding to my questions & this is what I found these two passed out on the floor. Once Kelly woke up he wondered where he was, he is a very heavy sleeper. I told him he better get use to sleeping on the craft room floor since that is where I will be even more now.

I am not sure if you are aware of the amazing deal that Target had this past week but I stocked up only a little bit. It was 5 for $11 on Coke products. I think I have enough for the whole summer! 

This weekend I realized how I need some serious organizing help in my bathroom & craft room. I was looking at different type of storage units. Target also had a good deal on Sterlite drawers. I can officially say that underneath my bathroom sink is now organized. I now need to come up with a functional system for craft stuff & how to put everything in the room. 

Kelly has also enjoyed playing on the new 'plasma' as what he calls it since it is so big! He doesn't understand all the tricks and the programs. He was shocked that I knew everything I did. Its not the first time I have been on a iMac & it won't be the last.

Saturday Morning. 

I didn't really want to get out of bed. Let's be honest who really ever wants to get out of bed? Kelly got up and I could hear pans downstairs & thought he was making eggs for himself. About a half hour later he came and sat this next to me! Breakfast in Bed! What! He even put chocolate chips in my pancakes. 

After we finally forced ourselves to get going on projects, I got a lot done. I am getting so close to being done with all the decor, invites & gifts for New Beginnings. I love the things I have come up with & can't wait to post them! 

It is going to be an awesome night! We went to a Court of Honor Saturday night. I had never been to one & I found it very interesting! We also celebrated my mom's birthday a few days early. It was fun to talk to Marci & play duck, duck, goose with her kids. I just love those cute kids! 

We also hosted a mini concert Frozen. It was a fun night full of lots of food, laughs & noise.

Sunday.

We went to a friends baby blessing. It was fun to see some of Kelly's friends & meet new ones. We visited Grandma Smith after which was good because she wasn't going to be home much longer since she was going to dinner at Uncle John's house. Then, we finally made it to my parents & had some dinner. My best friend Whitney came over and we chatted for a while. She is living in Elko now and I am glad that she came up this weekend. I miss her & I am so glad we can pick up on each others lives. We then headed back over to our church for a Recognition night for my Young Women who were getting their medallions. I was a little late to it but still got to hug the girls and congratulate them! 

We then left and went to Kelly's parents & watched the Oscars with them. Got some massages from Kelly's mom & shared popcorn with his dad! It was a long day & we were in church clothes for way to long.
