Yesterday was Jazz Game day. Dance Image Studios performs at halftime & pre-show. I never realized when I was a baby kid how much time, stress & more time that goes into doing a production! Until, the last couple of years I have learned so much about the dance world that I never really could grasp before!
This last week has been quite crazy between getting back into the groove of school after being off for Christmas break & worrying about how things were going to look at dance practice..
I was so happy last week when we had practice how great the girls did! It was just coming together and you could see things starting to change into what I know Lisa, Alexa & myself envisioned.
,,, So last night was the night!
And if you can't tell by the {proud mama} title. I was so pleased with their performance! They smiled, counted & most of all looked GORGEOUS and danced like they love to DANCE!
So So Happy!
The best feeling in the world is seeing the look on the girls face after they perform. They are exhausted, breathing heavy but have the biggest smile! I guess there really is two best feelings, because I also love when the last count is over that I get to cheer for those girls that I get to spend countless hours with at the studio. Weather its putting a bobby pin in their hair, fixing a flexed foot or having a good laugh. Each one of them feel like they are my own kids! I love that!
Now if the spring could get here & the snow will melt. I am ready for some long competition days & the joy it brings into my life.
