Meet The Mormons!

I have mentioned a few things about Kelly's Grandma throughout the last couple months. So get ready here is another post. Ever since she has been out of Rehab and the hospital we have gone over on a weeknight to visit with her on top of our Sunday night visits. This has been good for her to chat and get extra help around her house.
On Sunday, we asked her if she would want to go to a movie with us. I honestly was thinking she would say no! Well, to my surprise she said "YES!". We told her that we wanted to go see Meet the Mormons. She instantly started talking about how she wanted to see it.
Come to find out it had been years since she had gone to a movie. She does go to play's with some of the other family members but she normally wouldn't go to a movie. Well we picked her up Tuesday night and drove to the Megaplex. She was so excited the entire day before we got there that she got to go out with us.
We had asked her how she wanted to get into the theater she said she would walk herself. She is becoming so much more independent. We asked if she wanted to sit in the handicap seating and she said "I'm not handicapped! I can do stairs"... Well did she prove it to us. She did about 15 stairs up and down. She rocked it!

I had to catch a picture of Kelly walking next to her and helping her around the theatre. Even though she insisted that we didn't need to worry about her.

It was a fun night and the movie was great! I am really impressed at how the Church put together such a movie that can bring the spirit into a theatre and teach little things about the things we believe.
I really loved the song that David Archuleta sang at the end of the movie.
If you haven't seen this movie you need to!!
The Megaplex theaters offer a deal on Tuesdays for $5 all day, any movie. We also had gone to the anniversary of their opening day so we each got a free popcorn with our ticket.
They also have small popcorns for $1 on Tuesdays.
(Now you have no reason not to go!!)

Grandma has now told us that she wants to go out on the town more with us. We drove her around the Ogden Temple after and she was in love with it. She wants to go and do a session. Hopefully we can work that in after the baby is here. I love being able to get her out of the house and do something that she will enjoy for weeks to come.

Thanks Grandma Smith for a great Tuesday night!

Watch the trailer here.
