They watched Nala for us while we were gone to the Uintas with Janae & Steve! Samantha really wanted Nala to stay over the week we were in Disneyland but that didn't happen because we knew she would be a pain and not easy to maintain for a week.
At first I don't think Nala was extremely happy she was getting left again, but by the time we went to pick her up she had wiggled her way into there home like she had always lived there. I loved the pictures of Nala & Samantha cuddling that Kimmy sent me!
Well as I gave Samantha her gift she went and showed her mom the stuffed animal puppy & card. She was so happy and wanted to know what the card said.. After she said thank you she ran past all of us on the couch to head to the play room.
While passing us she said, "Happy!" in such an excited voice!
We all giggled and laughed that she didn't make a complete sentence but, it was adorable!
It reminded me how easy it should be to find a reason to be happy, even though most of the time we find reasons we aren't happy. Thank you Samantha for teaching me to be "Happy!"
